「 what i have to say... 10:27 AM 」

Added a new poem at the start of the page when you first 'stepped' into my blog... i love writing poems and write as and when i can. today's is entitled 'flowers'. inspired when i was walking to work, i would see a fence with lots of morning glory. some are in bloom, while others are withering... hence the poem...
yup yup... hope u like it... and i hope to write more as time goes by... but i dun think i'll be posting my older ones... fresh ones are better... haha...

「 what i have to say... 12:06 PM 」

haha... should have paid more attention during computer classes, would have made my computing code life better.
well then, im still trying to see if i got it right for now... cos i lost one date line for my "Re:Pet" post... and dun seem to be able to recover it. but i think the comments bar is working for now... just that's it a bit more troublesome where you have to click on the '0 comments' first, then click on entries again, before you can post. other then that, do use the home to go back to the blog after you're done, anything else means that you have to click on the dates in the portfolio to get the specific blog entry you want.
So have fun for now... and visit often to feed ham ham...
*still trying to figure out the date thing*

hihi...

changed the layout/template for my blog, but the comments section is not functionable at the moment, will try to get it working... but for the moment, just tag me!!

well well.. spent a whole day trying to find a new blog template to use... but apprently, there are many nice ones out there... but none of them for me... i think i would want to design one one my own, but i dun know how it works... as in how you get to load a template as a blog and stuff... but i will try... if u know of any info, do let me know about it... many thanks!!

but for now... all you will get is to meet my new pet... ham ham... and yes, its a hamster... newly adopted, fondly loved... go ahead and feed it... make it happy...
it thrives on low fat, vitamin filled strawberries... not to mention constantly running on the wheel, means that it will never grow fat... just like me!! hees... *evil grin*

「 what i have to say... 10:17 AM 」

When it comes to doing work, or anything... most of the time we find that we are lacking the drive, or motivation in doing it. This is due to the lack of passion in our work, duties or just things that we need to do.

When finding the passion to do things, many would ask, 'where would the passion come from?' As you read on, you would find a few reasons how we can find passion in doing what you need to do.

The first reason: Purpose

What is the reason that you need to do this? Is it so that you can have enough money to pay for you car? is it so that you can be accountable for the job that is entrusted to you? Or is it just that you can please someone and not get a nagging at the end ofthe day?

Purpose helps you focus on why you need to get the job done. And that can be a source for passion to arise. Because i love my wife, therefore i need to drive 5 blocks down just to pick her up from work. Because i want to be that best guitarist in the world, there I need to practise more.

the second reason for passion: Revelation

by revelation, it refers to the 'finding out, discovering of something, both from God or just from your own understanding'. it could be, 'that day when i was watching a documentary on the hungry african children, God touched my heart that i will reach out to them.' or it could that when you were practising your instrument, you noticed that you have a talent in playing the saxaphone.

revelation propels you to fulfill that job that you need to do. this is because to comes out from something more than just knowing the purpose, but knowing that there is more. it strengthens the purpose and you know that there is more in store, more to look forward to as you do the job/work.

the third reason: Joy

why joy? it is because when you have joy when you do something, it makes the job/task enjoyable. this means that you would to it, because you like to do it. if you like designing, when you are to design a poster, there would be joy when working on it. that does not mean that when you face problems, you dun get frustrated by it. what it means is that when problems come, you may get irritated, but you don't let the problems weigh you down, but face them and overcome them.

Joy is not a reaction, but rather, a choice. When you realise that it is a choice, you would know that when circumstances arise against you, you would still be able to keep that joy.
The reason why joy is the one of the most powerful of the reasons for passion is because its not only a choice, but also a character change. The first two reasons are more of a reaction to the situation, but with Joy, it arises from a long lasting change to the way that one views things.
This allows us to always keep the passion in doing the things that we love to do, and always recieving joy from it.

Live the passion, recieve the joy, one world sold out for Jesus.
