hihi... after a long break... im back blogging!! yeah... (clap clap) hees...
it's just that the last week has been a busy one and didnt really get down to blogging and stuff... so a short recap of last week's busyness...

the first major thing was that my NTU tutor came down to 'visit' me. oh... it wasn't a causal visit, but rather to assess me on my Industrial Attachment (IA). So the whole week, i had to write my log book of happenings for the past 10 weeks... and yeah... that means less time to blog. But he came, he saw, and he left... nothing much that he said, but at least he seemed happier then when i called him on the phone, or went down to see him personally that time. maybe it's the NTU office, makes professors grumpy... =X

on to the second point of my blog...

learning to drive has always been and interesting experience, the instuctors that you meet and the on the road driving... on one of the drives, i met 2 people that we trying to come into my lane... and almost causing an accident!! but it was a nice experience... and the instructor was good, with his lightning reflexes, steered me to safety... but this also talks about the type of drivers that we have on the roads nowadays...
another instructor was pretty grumpy from the start. not talking, just keep on saying, 'this mistake will cause you XX points.' not really the encouraging type. the whole driving, was such that... how should i put it... i can't wait for it to get over.
apparently, the difference was in that, the grumpy one is a full time instructor... while the other one is not... hence, being stuck in a car with 'wannabe' drivers, makes you grumpy too... lol

but... i wanna be different from the world. Even the first instructor, the friendly one, has his own problems, and he did seem concerned about it when we talked. I wanna be the one that when people talk to, they feel refreshed, that i will not be one that speaks negative things, but instead, change the whole way people see things. problems are problems becuse you allow them to be. sometimes, a little change in your perspective goes a long way.

working life is indeed not easy. you have to consider about you work when its office time, the pressure from the boss, the late hours that you have to work till... but all in all, give yourself time... time to do the things that you like (or buy something like you like)... to cheer yourself up once in a while, to give yourself a pat on the back, and say 'well done'.

be a light in the darkness, bring happiness instead of sadness, be joyful instead of being depressed. be a different from the world, be a world changer.

「 what i have to say... 12:43 PM 」

this post has always been on my mind, but just didnt get to write it down.

Ever since the army time, which is like 4 to almost 5 years that i have not been in my neighbourhood. it's not that i dun wanna walk around and see, but it's just that i usually only have my saturdays and sundays, which are not many days in the first place.

so ever since i moved back home for my attachment during the start of the year, i got to see and experience more of my neighbourhood, and it was indeed something different.

Of course, there would be usual obvious changes like the new buildings, but when i happen to pass by shop by shop, i noticed that some of the shops that i thought were still there, have already changed owners! the old, messy bookshop where i got my stationary, has now changed to one that sells clothes. the other bookshop that is always in competition with the old, messy bookshop is now selling toys and other stuff on top of stationary only.

about a month ago, i fell sick, so i went to see the doctor. When i opened the door, i was surprised to see that he had already had grey hair, and not the young doctor picture that i always had. (it maybe due to that doctors are very stressed, so they get white hair faster) When i went to the photocopying shop that i went when i was in secondary school, (to buy phonecards and collect them) the uncle was also so much older.

recently, i went to the coffeshop near my place to have noodles, and the whole coffeeshop was revamped and the noodle shop that i loved when i was younger, was still there! (heng ah) but the prices have already changed to $2.50-$3.50, instead of the usual cheap cheap $2. the stall also managed to have a signboard after so long...

Well, all these came as a shock to me, as my neighbourhood has already changed, or aged so fast. Indeed, it has been a long time since i'm back at home, getting to see my parents everyday. of course there are the good and bad, but for now, my just glad that im back at home, enjoying the neighbourhood and the 'little fairy' that places breakfast everyday on the table for me.

「 what i have to say... 3:41 PM 」

nowadays... i'm quite busy with my work... this week just managed to finish up my circuit board. but although it's more or less done... im still waiting for my parts to come in so that i can test to see if it works. however, even before it get to test it, i have already encountered some problems, so im back to working on it again.

haha... can't quite get my brain to work too as i can really think of any design that may be nice... worked on the incredibles... but it doesnt work... tried working on captain america, but no nice pics... worked on the thundercats, but still trying it get it off the ground. so... on well, i guess i would just have to wait till some creative juices get squeezed out of my already dry brain... lol... let us all just wait and see...
